Turkish security forces have arrested four Iraqis suspected of belonging to the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group. Among these four, there was one of the ISIS’ leaders, known as “Amir (prince) Telafar”, Turkish authorities revealed on Friday.

According to the Anatolia news agency, Turkish security arrested four people in the central state of Kayseri in Turkey, suspected of belonging to the ISIS “Daesh” terrorists.

Turkish security sources declared saying “anti-terrorism forces in Kayseri, carried out a security operation in the state resulted in the arrest of 4 People with Iraqi nationality, suspected of belonging to ISIS, including the so-called Amir Telafar”.

Telafar is a city and a district in Ninewa governorate northern Iraq.
