Immigration announces the closure of ten camps for displaced in Kurdistan region soon

The Immigration Minister (Evan Faiq Jabro) revealed to a TV program in an interview that ten camps of displaced people will begin to be closed in Kurdistan region in north of the country.

Jabro pointed out, “There are 16 camps for displaced in Dohuk governorate whose inhabitants are predominantly Yazidi, and that one of the camps includes 3,000 Yazidi families.”

“There are no major concerns in Sinjar district where located in northwestern of Iraq, and it is reassured place and stable now. furthermore, displaced are afraid of status of the judiciary, which will delay the return process,” Jabro said.
