New Yazidi Prince has been appointed after six month

Six months after the death of its former leader Tahsin Saeed Beg, the Yazidi religious minority living in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region chose his son to head their community.
On Saturday July 27, 2019 Hazim Tahsin Beg has been appointed as Yazidi Prince in Iraq and in the world, he will be the new Spiritual leader (Mir) of the Yazidis, the decision was made six months after the death of his father Mir Tahsin Saeed Beg.
From the total of six candidates to take the post of the prince, the Prince family after six months of discussion, choose Hazim Mir Tahseen Beg, son of the late Tahseen Beg, to follow in his father’s footsteps.
